Objective

Responsible for patients in Heart Care, Observation, IMC, ICU and Emergency Department
Admissions. Monitored daily progress, order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests. Work with healthcare
team, case managers and social workers in developing and implementing patient care plans. Proficient in
reading and interpreting labs and tests, working with social worker and other healthcare members in patient
care, Performing full history and physical admission evaluations, focused daily progress exams,
communicating efficiently with patient and family as well as proficient with EMR use.
Trauma Medicine
University of Maryland Medical Center R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, Baltimore, MD.

Worked with the Trauma Team in advanced trauma life support and multi-trauma care of patients
to include but not limited to: gun shot wounds, heart attacks, trauma, fractures, burns. As part of the
Trauma Team we follow and care for patients from their entry to the Centers Trauma Resuscitative Unit
and follow then through surgery, if needed, as well as their hospital course that may involve same-day
discharge, IMC, ICU, Multi-Trauma or Neurotrauma ICU units.
Emergency Medicine

Performed duties in fast track as well as main-side dealing with vast medical emergencies.
Proficient in peripheral venous access, IM injections, fluid resuscitation, obtaining and interpreting EKGs,
CPR, I&Ds, aseptic and isolation techniques, closure of wounds via sutures, staples, derma bond, wound
care and dressing changes and administration and prescription of medications.
Surgery

Responsible for pre-operative history and physical exams, pre-operative labs and evaluations.
Intra-operative experience in First and Second Assist roles, Laparoscopic and open surgical techniques,
aseptic technique, suturing and post-operative care.
Family Practice Medicine
