Distributed Chat System, spring 2014 - github.com/jielin-jlin/Distributed-Chat-System

o Created a Distributed Chat System using Java. This system has one server and allows arbitrary number

clients to chat with one another. A private system to chat with friends instead of using public chat systems.

o First android app I ever created. I made this app to get hands on experience with the Android SDK to

prepare for a much more difficult android application

o An Android application that enables communities to schedule and find local recreati onal activities. We

initially started this project to address the social challenge of finding workout partners or teammates for

recreational sports.

o I was the team leader of a group consisted of 5 people participating in a virtual hackathon which lasted 2

weeks.

REM Puzzle - github.com/jielin-jlin/REM-Puzzle

o An alarm made using Arduino that is designed to help people get better sleep, and wake up feeling

refreshed. Calculates the maximum amount of REM sleep possible of time available and enforces puzzle

solving to shut off alarm.
