Created a technical solution from a business problem for the niche PowerPlant software package. This software package played a critical role for Williams’ compliance with FERC government agency regulations.

Interactive Qualifying Project: Biofuels in Brazil

Co-authored a paper detailing Brazil’s switch from gasoline to ethanol. The goal of the project was to research Brazil’s gradual replacement of petroleum-based gasoline with ethanol made from sugar case and to propose a solution for the United States to replicate the same success.

Identified economical, mechanical, and environmental reasons that assisted in Brazil’s move away from fossil fuels
