ACADEMIC Elbow Assistive Embedded System

PROJECTS (Engineering Design 1 & 2 / Fall 2014 – Spring 2015)

• Integrated circuit that implements the device to assist the user to position the elbow in a ranged position. The embedded system involves a linear actuator which will position the elbow through the use of EMG sensors and an artificial neural network using pattern recognition which is used to map the EMG readings. Programmed an Intel Edison using C++ to control the linear actuator by positioning them to the desired position.

Software Development

(Object Oriented Programming / Fall 2014)

• Application developed to manage merchant and user’s information while managing the catalog of available resources in the merchant’s stock. Programmed in a Java IDE to design the application.

Embedded System

(Engineering Design 1 / Fall 2014)

• Integrated circuit that implements the device to position itself in a randomized direction based on the detection of a movable target. Programmed an Arduino microcontroller using C to control the stepper motor and servo by positioning them in a random location which is triggered by a motion sensor.
