ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Sep. 2014 – Dec. 2014
Two Channel Wireless EEG System on PCB Device
Achievements: Implemented a 5cm X 5cm PCB board for electroencephalography (EEG) signal detection.
Layout a PCB board by Altium Designer with noise< 2uV RMS, bandwidth 50Hz, power consumption<
5mW, input offset range +/- 300mV, leakage current< 1uA, cost< $50.
Assembled the PCB board manually and connected this board to CC2541 Bluetooth Development Kit.
Sep. 2014 – Dec. 2014
Four bits ALU Layout Design on VLSI
Achievements: Designed a 4-bit ALU with Adder, Subtractor, and Comparator with TSMC 300 nm by Cadence.
Layout dynamic D Flip-Flops, ripple carry adder, multiplexer, and comparator to implement ALU.
Optimized the gate sizing, dynamic D Flip-Flops, and full adder to implement maximum delay 1.34 ns,
minimum period 3 ns, and total area 8325 um2.
Jan. 2014 – May 2014
Embedded Security Program on ARM Device
Achievements: Encrypted a program by user and stored it on the Flash memory of STM32F4 Discovery board
with Keil MDK-ARM, and then decrypted the program to execute it.
Inputted a password through USB keyboard to encode the program with Triple DES algorithm.
Generated the checksum value for the password by using hash function SHA1.
Jan. 2014 – May 2014
Advanced Encryption Standard on FPGA Board
