Title: Hydraulic Manipulator Assembly

Customer: Bhabha Atomic Research Center

Description: Project was related to 2D to 3D conversion of drawings of hydraulic manipulator assembly and gripper assembly. Check for manufacturability. Design of mounting bracket as per the assembly and design constraint information provided by customer. Simulating the 3D model of hydraulic manipulator assembly and prototype development. Design of fixtures for developing the brackets.

Responsibilities:

•Development of 3D models of Rotary actuator assembly, pot & oil supply plate, follower and Driver gears, jaw assembly, Gripper mounting, Arm, bottom mounting, housing and end cover.

•Creation of fully-associative manufacturing drawings for sub-assemblies and assemblies.

•Simulation of the complete gripper assembly and troubleshooting for the issues (if any).

•Concept generation and development of Fixtures for various manufacturing operations in shop to manufacture the newly designed parts

•Provided 2D and 3D drawings to shop and follow up to ensure parts availability.
