My responsibility was to repair and maintain Mail Processing Machinery. This meant troubleshooting electric, electronic circuitry and mechanical components, so the machines would perform at their optimum capacities.

This position called for me to maintain and repair various components in a mail processing facility. I was responsible to install and troubleshoot electrical system circuits (120/208v and 277/480v), repair and install water and plumbing components (hot water heater, faucets, sinks, etc.), I also maintained centrifugal chillers, maintained and installed building HVAC digital control systems, stand-alone package air conditioning units. I was also responsible to construct and alter office and workroom areas (i.e. move and install walls, install electrical circuits and run telecommunication wiring).

My responsibility was to accept U.S.P.S. customers’ bulk mailings. This meant checking to see if large scale mailings met requirements to for reduced rate discounts. I also had to maintain customers’ accounts to check for proper payments and for available balances to pay for postage.
