Our report describes about availability of Ecosystem to the business such as MTTR, MTBF and availability by applications etc. There are some KPI’s which takes place in our metrics report such as outage duration, Incident count.

IBM understands that one of Claro PR’s business reasons for developing a Corporate Data Warehouse environment are based upon the desire to enhance its position in the wireless market in Puerto Rico. Currently, there are major hindrances to achieving this due to the existing inflexible architecture comprised of silos of data. This prevents Claro PR from understanding its customers and channels as well as its interactions with them and prevents Claro PR from effectively cross-selling and up-selling based across its Lines-of-Business (Wireless, Wireline, DSL, ClaroTV, etc.).

Description

It is a Materials/Procurement based data mart that aggregates data from dozens of back end ERP systems and provides the single data store off which the business writes reports, does analysis and creates applications. It is largely an IBM Unix/Oracle 9i architecture for the database / data processing though some reporting that runs on Cognos is on Windows servers. Marquee applications on MDSS include Global Pricing, Buyer Dashboard and Shortage Escalation, PPV cube. In addition, there are several reporting views into MDSS.

Description

GDW was the Enterprise Data-Warehouse of Solectron before it was acquired by Flextronics. GDW was updated daily with data from 36 manufacturing sites including inventory, demand, MRP, MPS and other operational details. The data from these sites were aggregated and reported to the business users through Business Objects (version 6.5). The reports were sent via emails and bursts and some were stored in shared FTP folders.
