Work History
Junior Desktop Administrator (intern) 06/2011 to 09/2011
Petroleum Geo-Services – Weybridge, UK
Interacted with company staff to provide one on one IT help desk support for software and hardware issues they regularly
encountered.
Routinely performed software and hardware upgrades to computers and company data processing servers.
Graduate Research Assistant 09/2013 to 02/2014
New York Institute of Technology –New York City, NY
Researched and created a mesh network of passive RFID tags to locate and register the exact locations of RFID
readers in a building in an effort to create a low cost tracking locator for blind people.
Investigated the efficacy of using passive RFID tags to read data from the RFID reader rather than the traditional way of
using an RFID reader to read data from a passive tag.
Education
Bachelor of Science: Computer Science 2012
University Of Nottingham - Nottingham, UK
Master of Science: Information Networks and Computer Security 2015
New York Institute of Technology - New York City, NY
Projects
Winner or Loser
As part of a group, researched and implemented a way to use past results for matches of the 5 major European football
leagues and betting odds to predict the outcome of future matches.
Developed an application that allowed for the past scores of any of the European top leagues for any year dating back to
1990 to be crawled seamlessly from the web as well as their upcoming match fixtures and betting odds
Bluetooth Active Badge System
Researched the possibility of using Bluetooth and android mobile devices to create an active badge system network to
track the location of people in a building using their Bluetooth device data.
RFID Locator
Investigated an alternative process to creating a low cost virtual haptic simulation system by build device to provide a
virtual simulation of human interactions with objects in a surgical environment by providing custom generated haptic
vibrations as feedback to the user.
Explored the possibility of using multiple RFID tags connected to an indoor mesh network of wireless sensor nodes to
scan data off and locate RFID readers attached to the walking canes of blind people within that mesh network.
