FINAL YEAR PROJECT

Iris Recognition: An Emerging Biometric Technology

The aim of the project was to design an Iris Recognition system.

First of all picture of the eye is taken by LCCD Camera.

Now apply edge detection methods and apply filters, which filters Iris from eye.

Iris is further processed and the resultant Iris is matched with different eyes that already stored in Data Base.

Iris Recognition System is normally used for different purposes including security, identity etc

The project was designed and simulated in Matlab.
