Single point of contact for Nielsen Data center in Oldsmar. I was taking care of new projects and day-to-day

operational activities. This is a very big office with a seating capacity of 1600 users. The datacenter environment

here is a constant changing network and we keep installing state of the art architecture as the business keeps

evolving.

• Successfully migrated the cisco legacy environment which consist of 6500, 4500 to Cisco Nexus 7k/5k/2k.

• Migrated old Nokia firewalls to standard HP hardware's.

• Have implemented Cisco ACE load balancers across the DC for various projects.

• Have completed two Business integration with a very strict time line and gained some very good knowledge

in understanding the road blocks in Network integration and feasible methods to fix it.

• Have maintained Riverbed for the North American offices.

• Involved in maintaining the network gears for this DC which includes Cisco 7206 VXR Routers, Cisco 6500,

4500 Series switch, Checkpoint P1, Juniper SSG20/SSG5/ISG1000/SA6000/SA6500, NGX-R65, Cisco CSS

Load Balancer, Cisco ACE Load Balancers, Riverbed WAN Accelerators and Visual probes.

• I was the SPOC for the complete Datacenter with respect to Network activities.

• This office also hosts the 2nd big data center of our client and my responsibilities in this location are as follows:

• Operations: I was handling all the day-to-day operations along with the existing team that would include the

following support.

Client Juniper SSL, Cisco VPN, ACS server, Nortel Field VPN, Juniper Field VPN, Juniper VOIP VPN,

TACACS, Client Cisco Equipment, Client Juniper Equipment, WAN connectivity - Internal and Client's, LAN,

cabling and datacenter support, VTL backup network, VOIP, Solar Winds, Wireless networks across the office.

• Single point of contact for Client networks. I will be the SPOC for maintaining their uptime from addressing

• Maintenance of Cisco and VSAT network at central site and 15 remote locations.

• Taken care of One core 4507r L3 switch, 5 distribution layer switches (3550) and 32 access layer switches

(2950)

• Maintenance of VLAN and VOIP.

• Migration of Nortel LAN network to Cisco layered switching network.

• Migrated the Nortel switches to Cisco. At access and distribution layers Cisco 2950 is installed which

comprises around 18 VLANS.

• With proper planning and backup plans, Around 27 access layer switches migrated with minimum downtime.

• Up gradation of Distribution Layer switches.

• As per Cisco standards, all the 2950 switches at distribution layer has been migrated to 3550 with Gbic ports,

which gives fiber connectivity of 1000Mbps for trunk connectivity.

• Cisco RAS Connectivity:

• Installed the Cisco 3745 router for the E1 PRI link through which the remote users will login via ISDN lines

and Analog dialups.

• Call establishment is from remote site to the central site.

• The users will get authenticated via the RADIUS servers. The PRI line at the central site is a Toll free number

so that the call charges will be billed at central site.
