PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Own and manage Window manufacturer; a small business of three employees. Custom made aluminum windows, doors, table tops, commercial store front stained and lead glass. 1000 square feet art work. Built my own 7,000 square feet shop.
Carolina Custom Glass and Boatworks Inc., Owner 1984 to Present
I personally built the plugs, made molds from the plugs and built both the 30 foot center console and the 34 foot Blackfin style sport fish. I did everything myself, stringers, bulkheads, coring, electrical, plumbing, and welded T tops and a tower. The 30 foot prototype surface drive model is nearing water test, expected results 50 to 60 miles per hr with 3 to 5 miles a gallon using hydroplane technology and a fuel injected 496 cubic inch Mercruise engine. I have 18 years experience in boat building and a picture album documenting this project. I am thoroughly experienced in assembly line improvements, new product introduction; I respectfully request an interview and will bring my entire picture album showing this cutting edge technology surface drive propulsion design. I sell unfinished 30 ft hulls with stringers and bulkheads, coring if desired, I use 1708 and 3610 cloth materials, polyester resin. I Trained 13 people in the laminating process. I am currently converting a 26 Bertram into a surface drive. I attend IBEX shows for ideas and purchase my materials from Composites One.
