A global leader in developing innovative applications for mobile & digital learning, along with technology products & services.
Delivery Executive (2014-2015)
Oversaw delivery of core Pearson services which represented 25% of Services revenue in 9 states. Executive-
level escalation point for customers. Worked hand-in-hand with Sales to identify new opportunities and confirm
that custom solutions could be implemented successfully.
Drove efforts across Sales, Services and Support to deliver a key consultative service needed to insure
success that was not included in the initial sale. The payoff: $20K in additional annual revenue and restored
working relationship with customers.
Identified a new annual revenue stream of $30K in re-certification training for a Pearson Partner by finding
gaps in software implementation that had led to customers refusing to sign off on project completion. The
approach: working with our project management team and partner to revise the process.
Manager - Custom Application Solutions (2012-2014)
Managed development of custom pages and reports, interface design to 3rd party systems, and custom
applications. Recruited staff, set employee goals, coached and mentored to serve customers worldwide.
Defined and implemented processes to reduce custom application quote turn-around time by 25%
Led turn-around on failed project to provide a graduation planning systems for the South Carolina
Department of Education: the end result -- an additional revenue stream of $20K annually in maintenance.
Manager – Data Services (2011-2012)
For customers moving from prior information systems to Pearson products, managed extraction, transformation
and loading (ETL) of customer data. Maintained qualified staff. Built relations with key contracting agencies to
secure skilled contingent resources.
Oversaw the integration of newly acquired product (Schoolnet) and flagship product (PowerSchool). This
allowed automatic transfer of student information on a nightly basis and eliminated double data entry.
Systems Engineer–Technical Solutions Group (2010-2011)
Team Lead for pre-project planning, scheduling and deployment of PowerSchool implementations.Managed
workload, scheduled service delivery, TSG Service Desk. Produced new workflow to streamline installations.
Built a new revenue-producing service offering that provided remote backup and data restoration services to
Pearson customers.
