Hayashi Canada Inc. – Human Resources Assistant – Contract Oct. 2012 - April 2013
Stratford, Ontario
Conducted the onboarding process for all new hires at Hayashi Canada. This encompassed a guided plant tour, health and safety training that included WHMIS and Lockout, review of policy and procedures, and ensuring the accuracy and completion of all new hire paperwork (2-10 employees a week).
Revised with attention to detail and the employee handbook and distributed to all employees (115 employees).
Handled recruitment by conducting first round interviews by telephone (15 per month).
Submitted temporary payroll and was a point of contact with the agencies via email and telephone.
Used PowerPoint, Publisher, and other imaging programs at an advanced level to create communications pieces for the Human Resources department.
