Craigslist Search Interface (September 2013 – January 2014)
A web interface for users to search ads on Craigslist
“Search content”, “zip-code”, and “radius (km)” can be entered into the interface and have it return relevant data
Created graphical user-interface using Java (using NetBeans), and implemented database server using MySQL
Incorporated the Haversine formula to calculate the distance and bearing between latitude/longitude points
Implemented regular expression to retrieve data from HTML source code
Carousel Interactive Animation (September 2014 - January 2015)
Created an interactive carousel where the user can zoom in/out and accelerate/decelerate speed of carousel
Written in C++ using 2 different applications (XCODE and Visual Basic Studio)
Incorporated the APIs of shapes and manipulated them to create the foundation of the pink carousel
