Peddle & Deliver driver delivering freight in Northern Virginia but primarily in Washington,

D.C. Unloaded and reloaded trailers for maximum time efficiency while out on delivery. Low

bring back freight totals and exceptions. Familiar with PeopleNet onboard log book systems

used in tractors trailers. I covered line haul positions as needed.

Driver and Supervisor for 13 years overseeing the Waldorf Zone in Southern Maryland, my

duties included the pulling of doubles trailers to the reship facility in Greencastle, PA every

night. I am familiar with the loading and unloading of freight utilizing forklifts' with various

attachments. Creating loading routes and plans on the company's Navigator computer system.

Assuring all excess freight runs were covered by additional drivers as needed for the city

operations. Segregating time sensitive and appointment freight as well as special needs freight

like lift gate or guaranteed shipments. I also was responsible for maintaining and tracking all

trap status freight for my area. Other responsibilities included the creating and printing of the

bill packets and delivery receipts as well as researching freight histories. I primarily worked

during the Line Haul operations of the company, but do have a working knowledge of the City

operations. From time to time I would perform the duties of a city driver and make deliveries to

service the customer’s needs.
