Senior Vice President of Operations
Responsible for rebuilding the data operations for this Managed Markets Information provider by reducing processing time and increasing data accuracy. New data processes eliminated over 80% manual coding errors. Coordinated with the IT team and identified back-end and data acquisition process shortcomings, and targeted solutions to address these needs. Successfully managed development resource team in the US (12) and in India (34). Designed and delivered a plan to improve the internal operations at BusinessOne, resulting in a new organizational structure in the Data Operations department.
Participated in New Business Developments, identifying and planning a new data analytics group working across several sister companies within the ownership portfolio, opening up complementary businesses and new lines of revenue. Part of the team to opened a new Sales and Management office in New Jersey expanding the company’s physical presence, locating key personnel closer to customer locations for more timely support and providing increased options for talent acquisition.
Worked with the finance team to investigate and revise the product pricing models to deliver more consistent pricing information and significantly improving the EBITDA margins. Projects were better defined, and the Sales staff was much better prepared for client discussions concerning price issues.

Part of a team of managers for the Managed Markets data division, a division that consistently ranked, on a percentage basis, as the most profitable group in the corporate portfolio and delivered very high EBITDA performance. Introduced solutions to a completely new customer channel by adapting an internal software development project to be client facing, leading to new revenues for the group, further secured sources for the database and reduced data acquisition and data entry for a significant portion of our collection efforts.
Was part of the team working with MediMedia’s Senior Managers and external bankers to divest this division to Private Equity ownership. Presented to fifteen potential financial and strategic buyers, and obtained a successful buyer at an above market multiple. Remained with the business as the new ownership group transitioned the business into their portfolio.
Executive Vice President, Sales 2004 - 2007
Managed the Sales and Service groups for the Managed Care technology group, and worked across other MediMedia divisions, especially the Managed Care Consulting group. Delivered solid sales performance after the business had stalled, growing top line revenue over 60% while maintaining very high margins.
