Circuit board design Engineer: Responsible for the creation and maintenance of multiple databases and designs, both Unix and PC based. Provided board layout and redesign of PCB and cost reduction steps. Created manufacturing documentation for outside PCB vendor manufacturing and internal manufacturing Provided team support and training of Mentor software tools. Provided support for both factories and after market repair.

Product Engineer: Was responsible for the identifying of product and production quality issues and the respective fixes. Field tested product changes to quantify products maintained or exceeded customer requirements along with CTIA and FCC requirements. Visited factories globally and vendors to assure quality practices and changes where kept and implemented. Interfaced with outside customers and provided onsite setup of handset upgrades of existing inventories.

Sustaining and Integration: Extensive test and troubleshooting of RF/Digital/Analog automated electronic test equipment to component level using spectrum, network and logic analyzers, scopes, and DVM’s. Supported engineering during design, prototype, test, and system level integration of new development products. Performed complex calibrations (both electronic and Mechanical), certifications, and maintenance to government standards.

Facilitator: Facilitated teams in day-to-day production activities to meet factory goals. Trained team members to maintain test equipment. Assisted in training the production factory in basic fundamentals of “Just in time manufacturing” as well as implementing lessons learned onto the factory floor. Included in supervisory duties were manpower justification, ranking, disciplinary actions and performance evaluations. Functioned as a Liaison for visiting government departments.

New Builds: Built test equipment ensuring quality, practicality, and maintainability. Performed component selections and suitable replacements. Duties included initial performance verification testing, drawing updates, accuracy, and quality compliance, calibration development.
