• Directed, planned, executed and evaluated all administration, budget, plans, operations,

training and logistics at the Regional Training Site Medical Camp Parks, CA.

• Managerial oversight of government equipment inventories worth $26M with zero loss of

equipment reported and managed an operational budget in excess of $450K resulting in 100

percent execution of funds at the end of the closeout year.

• Managed and directed the planning of training support for a Joint Readiness Training

exportable training package designed to certify the 349th Combat Support Hospitals battle

skills competency.

• Managed the Global Medic Training Exercise providing instructor support. Trained medical

units in battle skills development using Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care

(MC4).

DEPUTY SURGEON UNITED STATES ARMY RESERVE COMMAND

• Directed and managed the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) Surgeon’s

Office that encompasses the training and readiness of all 233 Army Reserve medical units

that comprise more than twenty percent of the 200,000 Army Reserve Soldiers. Ensured that

all internal and external tasking’s and suspense’s were completed on time and schedule.

Program Manager for the Regional Training Site Medical (RTS MED) and was the primary

architect of a five year $35M RTS MED contract.

Managed resources that are required for medical programs and managed an annual budget

of $13.4M.

Advised the Army Reserve Surgeon on medical readiness, training issues and acted as the

Army Reserve Surgeon in his absence.

Directed the working group that developed the memorandum of understanding to transition

the RTS MED from the United States Army Reserve Command to the new Medical

Readiness Training Command.

• Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics for the 2nd Medical Brigade that deployed in support of

Operation Iraqi Freedom II. Managed 32 down trace medical units and a headquarters staff

Food Service, Movement and both Installation and unit property.

Managed the Logistics section that provided property and maintenance management for over

$400M in total property and contracts worth over $15M.

Managed over 20 separate contracts for the more than 50 buildings occupied by the Medical

Brigade and its down trace in the Green Zone/International Zone in Baghdad, Iraq.

Managed the Engineers repairing the fixed facility hospital construction projects in Balad,

Mosul and Tikrit.
