CALSETS Mobile Calibration Shelters, Test Equipment Instrumentation Support Program
(TEISP), FEDS Dyno Warning System (DWS).
Evaluated contracting matters to streamline the development of purchasing processes.

Prepared and executed the purchase of a wide array of items to include small electronic

components (capacitors/ resistors), circuit boards, connectors, cable components, testing
equipment, metal work, tools, wire, shipping supplies, and office supplies. Assembled the
purchasing documentation into a final package for signature by the Program Manager.
Routinely tracked outstanding purchase orders, purchase commitments, and all Return
•
Material Authorizations (RMAs) to ensure that processing deadlines are met or completed
prior to the suspense date.
Managed the organizational purchasing database which details all purchases, estimated
•
delivery dates, actual delivery dates, and vendor information. This database consists of over
1500 purchases annually.
Ensured Requests for Quotes (RFQs), purchases, and sole source justifications were within

the compliance guidelines of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Reviewed RFQs to
ensure all pertinent documentation is included in the submission package.
Conducted evaluations of all vendors to ensure prices are competitive and delivery schedules
•
are timely. Provided an assessment/report to my leadership to facilitate a more efficient
acquisition process and identified issues that could impact the overall operation success. This
report is forwarded to my higher headquarters for evaluation.
Evaluated vendors annually based upon the factors of cost, delivery time, and quality of

products in accordance with ISO:9000 certification.
Negotiated pricing and lead times with all vendors to ensure the best price and delivery date
•
for each item to facilitate the completion of the delivery schedule.
Provided technical advisory support for purchasing to assist the Program Manager and
•
Engineers with its vendor source selection.
Created Build of Materials list from Technical Drawing Packages (TDPs) to assist technicians
•
with configuration management requirements. Reviewed TDPs to determine obsolescence and
identified replacement parts as required.
Developed 10 weekly price quotes ranging from $1K to $40K for submission on government
•
contract bids.
Researched and located hard to find/obsolete parts and located acceptable replacement parts.

Utilized CostPoint 7.1 database system to input part information, create purchase requisitions,
•
and create purchase orders. The data from this system is the core for our statistical reports and
serves as a tool to project future needs and requirements.
