FINANCIAL CONTROLLER / HEAD OF OPERATIONS & INFRASTRUCTURE – INFOSYS CANADA (2012-2014)
Managed all aspects of Canadian operations for Infosys Limited and two subsidiaries, Infosys BPO and Infosys
Public Services, with a combined revenue base of US$150 million. Served as legal representative for all 3 businesses
and monitored banking activities for the entire organization. Developed quarterly operating budget and P&L activities
and provided senior financial management (in India) with consolidated financial report. Managed the payroll process,
compliance, and employee benefits for all 3 Canadian branches. Oversaw 5 direct reports and 16 team members
supporting offshore teams in various capacities.

Revenue & Profit Optimization:
Contributed to 3 consecutive years of year-over-year revenue growth through sound financial management,
internal controls, cost reduction initiatives, and productivity/efficiency enhancements.
Saved $1 million through implementation of new vendor and payment process routed through credit cards, in

Served as Chief Security Officer for Infosys and Infosys Public Services to ensure that vendors were qualified and

Financial Management:

Led business development, marketing, and brand-building initiatives across Canada, in addition to holding full
financial accountability, including foreign exchange and treasury, business finance, cost controls, SOX, compliance,

activity reports, forecasts), and annual budgets. Led procurement activities, including vendor negotiations, contract
management, and due diligence. Managed team of 100 employees in the Toronto office, with extended oversight of
600 employees in offices across large Canadian cities. Directly reported to Global CFO in India and other senior
management team members. Two-time recipient of Chairman’s Award.
Organizational / Infrastructure Development:
Played lead role in establishing the Canadian Branch infrastructure, which included building the client base,
initializing the HR function, implementing recruiting and hiring procedures, and hiring the first HR manager.
Opened 2 subsidiary companies, Infosys BPO and Infosys Public Service, which were spin-offs of Infosys new
market development initiatives. Built companies from startup organizations into fully operating enterprises with
revenues of $25 million in just 2 years.
Revenue Growth, Cost Savings & Profit Optimization:
Generated significant savings for the North America region through various initiatives, which included
consolidation of leased spaces and vendor relationships and negotiation of various service contracts, including
overseas medical insurance renewals.
Increased annual revenues from $10 million to $150+ million, with 97.6% client retention, by maintaining
exceptional client satisfaction levels based on consistent delivery of the high-quality services.
M&A / Due Diligence:
Played key role in 2 major merger transactions in Australia and Europe, which included coaching and managing
the resource integration effort.
IT Project Management:
Managed multiple IT projects, including an SAP rollout and new accounting software implementation, which
improved operations in finance, administration, corporate planning, and other key functions.
