WORK EXPERIENCE

Ophthalmic Technician

Blum eye center - Queens, NY - April 2006 to Present

Responsibilities

Check VA, Autorefraction, Check IOP, Refracction. Do the test: ECC, Topography, IOL Master, HRT, HVF,

Fundus Photo, GOCT, Mac OCT, Anterior segment measurements.

Accomplishments

When in 1996 I began to work in this medical field Eye Drs. had only two machines: HRT and HVF. So during

18 yrs. I learned how to use many other of them. I was a MD in Russia. I was cardiologist and also spent 5 yrs.

in Moscow to become PhD. So it was easy to me to work in another medical field because i start to work with

the p/t from 1980. Of couse in USA, where i come in 1993, i start to work in another part of medical field--the

Eye desease. Also it was helpfull to me than in Russia i finished aspecial English school and at the first year

coming in USA work about 8 months in Elmhurst Hospital as a intrpretator.
