System Engineering
Engineered environments for SpecTec clients that allow the secure communication and
replication of SpecTec commercial software and databases between client offices and
client vessels.
Through SQL query examination and optimization was able to help a client bring a 20
minute report query down to 2 minutes.
SpecTec major shareholder required us to migrate Active Directory domains to join the
shareholder, I was responsible for overseeing that our US offices were able to complete
and continue operations with our internal servers, testing environments and software.
2012-2014 IT Systems Administrator, GDS International & MeetTheBoss.TV, Miami Beach, FL
System Administration
In charge of installing, configuring, and maintaining all business technology for the 60+ sales
associates in the GDS Miami Beach office while helping provide administration to GDS globally
to over 15 Windows/Linux servers.
Deployed a windows domain to join the office with the rest of the company as well as installed
a terminal server and locked down a BYOD network to only allow the LAN to connect to the
terminal server. This helped to enforce the IT policy at GDS which was a BYOD environment.
Using a spare computer, installed a web filtering operating system called Untangle to sit
between the firewall and the internet to ensure proper usage of company resources.
