Test Technician. Responsibilities include Full Operational

Testing of Medium Voltage (2.3kV to 15kV) Motor Soft

Starters. Units are marketed under the names of ABB,

Siemens, Toshiba, General Electric, and Saftronics along

with the Motortronics name. Also, Operational Testing and

Calibration of Precision Lamp controls for the

Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry. In the event of a

non-conforming part, board level repair was performed.

Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities included

maintenance of a 2500 ton SMS/Sutton Extrusion press and

product handling equipment. Both systems operated on Allen

Bradley PLCs. These pieces of equipment also incorporated

the use of Allen Bradley D.C. drives, Magnatek/Yaskawa GPD

515 VFDs, Barksdale pressure transducers, a Temposonics

positioning rod, various encoder style positioning systems,

Mannesmann/Rexroth hydraulic valves, Vickers hydraulic

valves, and Parker hydraulic and pneumatic valves and

cylinders. Also responsible for maintenance of an aluminum

anodizing process with waste water treatment facilities, an

aluminum casting operation consisting of a gas fired scrap

aluminum melting furnace, 6 ton dual lift gantry crane and

other support equipment and facilities.

11/98 to 8/00 Hughes Manufacturing / United Steel Products.

Largo, FL

Electrical Technician. Responsibilities included design,

assembly, programming, and repair of microprocessor based

control systems for punch presses. The presses ranged in

size from 30 tons up to and including 150 tons. The

Automation Direct DL205 series was the main PLC used.

There were also Omron and Allen Bradley PLCs in use within

the facility. Also responsible for the design and building

of electrical controls and electrical maintenance for steel

handling equipment, feed systems, decoilers, slitter line,

wire formers, spot welders. Also responsible for

electrical maintenance of facilities. Assisted mechanics

when required.

4/98 to 11/98 Surface Finishing Technologies, Inc. Clearwater,

FL

Electrician. Responsibilities included full assembly of

electrical cabinets for continuous feed electro-plating and

print circuit board etching machinery. These machines

where manufactured per customer requirements.

1/98 to 4/98 Security Engineers Systems, Inc. Oldsmar, FL

Installation Technician. Fire and security alarm systems

installation technician. The fire alarm systems were

installed according to NICET and NFPA code. All systems

were installed according to local and national code.

4/96 to 1/97 AIDE Inc. /Advanced Automation. Greenville, SC

Contract Mechanic. Responsibilities included mechanical

assembly of machinery as per drawings.

6/89 to 4/96 Robert Bosch Corp. Anderson, SC

Electro-mechanical Technician. Responsibilities included

repair and predictive/preventive maintenance of printed

circuit board and hybrid module assembly machines. The hybrid assembly was

from bare 2" x 2" ceramic substrate to finished

module. The printed circuit board assembly was from population of bare

board to finished unit in housing. Supervision of

approximately 25 to 30 members of production team during

routine daily operations until July, 1995. At this point the department

went to a team oriented production operation.
