FALL 2012-SPRING 2013

I had assisted some of my undergrad colleagues in conducting a study on the willingness to

report a violent threat on college campuses. I helped in developing an appropriate analytic

design for the research problem proposed including the appropriate sampling method for our

chosen sample during data collection. I had also helped with entering the data into SPSS,

running the appropriate research analysis through SPSS and interpreting the results.

FALL 2013-SPRING 2014

I am currently assisting my research partner in conducting a study based on body appearance

and the perception of an individual potentially having HIV or an STI as a part of our senior

thesis. I have done literature reviews based on our research idea in which we developed a

research question. My partner and I worked together to develop specific hypotheses regarding

the study. After properly collecting data from our sample, I helped in entering the data into

SPSS and ran the appropriate research analysis to test the IVs. I also helped in interpreting

the findings.

BACHELORS OF SCIENCE IN PSYCHOLOGY

I currently have a 3.4 GPA as a senior at Morgan State. I was recently listed as a Dean’s List

Scholar for the Fall 2013-Spring 2014 academic year. I have participated in conducting two

studies while achieving my undergraduate degree at Morgan State.

COMMUNICATION I show great initiative in a work environment. I can also efficiently use my listening skills to

help get the task at hand done accurately and appropriately according to protocol. While
