My responsibilities include support for mission critical applications, databases, and other

resources that provide operational support for our Public Safety Division and its Police and

Fire Departments, their 911 Center and Emergency Operations Centers. Ronald Reagan

Washington National Airport and Dulles International Airport’s IT Services and Support are

managed and supported by our group.

Information systems management responsibilities included Windows server 2008, IBM

iSeries, xSeries, desktop and mobile computing in support of Africare headquarters staff in

Washington, DC as well as support for offices in 20 countries on the continent of Africa.

Responsible for support for the organizations public and intranet websites, financial

systems, and messaging / collaboration.

Responsible for Lawson Financial accounting system (IBM iSeries) / Sage ACCPAC

financials (Windows Server 2008 / SQL Server / VMWare), IBM Lotus Notes / Domino and

for Google Apps for email and collaboration. These systems and applications support

Africare headquarters in Washington, DC, and 23 country based field offices on the

continent.
