Description:

1. Maintain Product Quality Standard

- Conducting physical, chemical and rheological analysis of raw

materials, in process and finished goods and evaluate them in

specified frequency of checking.

WHEAT & FLOUR PHYSICAL ANALYSIS - % screenings ( foreign

materials, dockage, shrunken and broken), 1000 kernels,

contrasting classes, damage wheat, hectoliter weight, pekar

test, granulation, additives and odor.

WHEAT & FLOUR CHEMICAL ANALYSIS - moisture, protein, pH, ash

and gluten.

WHEAT & FLOUR RHELOLOGICAL ANALYSIS - Farinogram ( absorption,

peak time, MTi, stability), Extensigram ( Rmax, R5cm,

Extensability ) and falling number.

PASTA PHYSICAL & CHEMICAL ANALYSIS - appearance, odor, moisture

and cook test

- Identify potential problems and determine possible causes of

defects.

- Conduct ageing and validates RM/PM and finished goods.

- Responsible for the custodianship of material and product

testing records.

2. Provide Services

- Helps production in quality troubleshooting.

- Coordinates of results of analysis to concerned department

- Generating certificate of analysis to all out-going products

- Validate Bad Order returns from trade

- Assist in conducting plant trial and experiments

- Responsible in disposition of products in SAP

.

3. Promotes Good Housekeeping and Sanitation

- Check housekeeping and sanitation of the plant and coordinates

with production, warehouse and silo regarding findings and

recommendation.

- Clean and calibrate laboratory equipment.

- Properly disposing laboratory waste.

4. Employee Development

- Conducting GMP orientation

- Trains QA assistant assigned in the laboratory and equipped to

proper sampling and handling.

- Attend meetings with supervisor and managers.

- A member of HACCP Team.

5. Summarize and reporting documents

- Monthly reports of incoming deliveries

- Daily monitoring of in-process and finished goods.

- Monthly summary of wheat shipment analysis

- Monthly summary of non-conformance report
