Client Project: Application Modernization (AdminRe, Reinsurance Company, UK)
• As a part of twenty member development team, developed code modules to migrate a legacy
insurance application (250k LOC) from VB 6.0 platform to C# .Net.
• The new application was based on MVC architecture and all new code was developed with
greater efficiency and ease of implementation.
• Developed a utility application for automating code migration from VB6 to C# and for
incremental unit testing on the converted code.
• Documented the conversion routines and coached the team members on the use.
• UI screens were developed using WPF, and used XAML to define UI elements.
• Developed numerous SQL Stored Procedures and Triggers (in SQL Server 2010) for this data
intensive system.
Client Project: Credit Risk Insurance (Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India, Mumbai,
India)
• Prepared and executed test plans and test scripts for C# applications.
• Escalated application related issues during testing and used an in-house project management tool
(PM Smart) to track and resolve them.
• Took lead of an important module, “Account Payable and Account Receivable (ARAP)” and
interfaced with the members of the development team to fix the defects effectively.

insurance domain and test script preparation.
