Project Description:

Google MapMaker provides increased mapping coverage in countries where

mapping data is unavailable due to government restrictions. Using Google

Maps, local people in those countries can tag important features (like

roads, railways, rivers etc) which need to be approved by Google Moderators

using MapMaker. Once authorized, they are available in Google Maps and can

be used by everybody.

Responsibilities

. Attend BA/Requirement walkthrough meetings to clarify QA questions on

requirements

. Documenting QA issues and clarifications through Clarification Tracker

. Create high level Test Scenarios / Test Coverage Matrix

. Create / Maintain Test Cases in Test Case Management Tool (HP-QC)

. Conduct Test Coverage Matrix / Test Case review meetings with project

stakeholders and obtain sign offs

. Execute Test Cases and update test results in Test Case Management

Tool.

. Log defects in Defect Management Tool (HP QC / JIRA) and provide

adequate test evidence (screen shots, logs, etc)

. Report progress on Test Design, Execution and Defects to all Project
