College projects that helped prepare me for real world obstacles (brief list below):
o Successfully created a synthetic Anterior Cruciate Ligament that was biocompatible and mimicked the mechanical
properties of a natural ACL that could be readily purchased and reduced recovery time
o Worked on a coastal protection project that involved testing different materials and their efficiencies at barricading
the coasts against different wave strengths in a wave pool. Successful project that reduced wave amplitude and
frequency by over 30%.
o Drafted an original multi structural playground system using Autodesk Inventor that met specific safety regulations
and did not exceed the set budget while following CPSC safety regulations
o Led a group project that involved closely working with teachers from a neighboring elementary school to present a
hands on demonstration of light properties for a younger target audience
