Objective: I enclose my resume as a first step in exploring my next
management assignment.
You will see that my current role is as a Housekeeping Manager at the 1,001
room Marriott Rivercenter Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. During my 12 years
of tenure at this busy convention hotel, I have gained a great wealth of
knowledge and experience that I am eager to expand in my next management
assignment. I have enjoyed being a part of a management team that has led
the Marriott convention network in achieving substantial financial, guest-
related, and associate satisfaction results. The following a brief synopsis
of some of my major accomplishments and achievements.
Professional Experience:
September 2003-Present Housekeeping Manager-Marriott Rivercenter, San
Antonio, TX
. Assist housekeeping leadership team in daily operations of 1001 room
downtown property.
. Responsible for training, recruiting, disciplining and scheduling of
120 housekeeping associates.
. Ensure that all Marriott Cleanliness standards are being met and
maintained in order to maximize guest satisfaction.
. Team leader for promoting associate satisfaction by ensuring
completion of quarterly rap sessions, maintaining open door policy and
utilizing associate ideas and feedback to improve associate relations.
. 2014 - Worked closely with the leadership of the department to
estimate an increase of our productivity by 2.1% or the equivalent
of 5100 man hours.
. 2013 - Worked closely with the leadership of the department to
increase our productivity from the prior year by 1.9% or the
equivalent of 4600 man hours.
