Responsible for implementation of Continuous Improvement Framework with support from the plant manager
* Implementation of multiple visual management systems throughout the plant to improve product flow,
response to down equipment, and overall plant performance.
* Implementation of a working plant value stream map. This map is a living document utilized to identify areas
for improvements, track project completion, assist in capital appropriation decisions, and display improvement
progress.
* Lead, drive, and maintain records of all plant 5S activities including weekly housekeeping audits and quarterly
5S wheel audits.
* Leader of multiple plant continuous improvement teams responsible for the following improvements:
o 21% reduction in EMS 205 scrap with over $200k in savings
o 23% reduction in rough machining set up times
o 63% improvement in finish machining set up times
* Implementation of standard work practices in all areas in supply manufacturing and in all set up reduction
areas
* Currently the acting key member contact for USEV as a member of Bluegrass Automotive Manufacturing
Association (BAMA).
