ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Wireless Heart Rate Monitor (Arduino, MS Office) Spring 2014
Designed prototype with partner to obtain a user’s heart rate and display it on a mobile app via Bluetooth.
Assembled device parts and tested device functionality, including Bluetooth capability. Delivered progress report
presentations in class using MS PowerPoint.
Two-stage BJT Power Amplifier (PSpice) April 2014
Designed amplifier with partner to meet certain specifications. Calculated theoretical performance of circuit and
performed DC and AC frequency simulations on PSpice. Created a BOM for assembly. Tested and fine-tuned
circuit to provide desired performance.
Xilinx FPGA Chip Application (Xilinx ISE) Spring 2012
Collaborated with three others to develop a simple game using digital logic. Conceived game strategy and
implemented it by applying the state machine design technique on Xilinx ISE. Downloaded program onto FPGA
chip and tested whether the game ran according to guidelines.
