Job Responsibilities:-

*Responsible for the Operation & Maintenance of existing BTS sites in GSM

1800 band and CDMA 900 band.

*Responsible for the Operation & Maintenance of existing BSC of ZTE and

Huawei.

*Responsible for acceptance tests of new cell sites (i.e. testing calls,

handovers, VSWR measurement and verifying all

external alarms reporting to the OMC).

*Knowledge to terminate alarms of Huawei (GSM) & ZTE (CDMA) BTS.

*Responsible for all technical issues/fault diagnosis and rectification at

BTS sites, Microwaves, transmission media, BSC cards.

*Troubleshooting System Alarms related to BSC and BTS.

* Knowledge of ZTE and Huawei BSC for analyzing site parameters.

* Knowledge of "MapInfo Professional" for Orientation of Network.

*Responsible for providing E1 for new cell sites.

*Responsible for sites loop plan activity using protection devices.

*Responsible for O&M of ODU & IDU of PESOLINK.

*Involvement & co-operation with NOC in the clearance of complex faults.

*Co-ordination & Management for project teams for installation of new

sites.

*To insure 99.99% network availability in BSC.

Tools Handled:-

*Site master (Anritsu Make).

*GPS (Garmin).

*Splicing Machine (Faitel Make).

Training Attended:-

* Three days Training on WCDMA at "Huawei Technologies Ltd." Node office.

* Three days Training on Transport & Fiber at Reliance Communication Ltd.

Projects:-

*I worked in Reliance 3G Project as Node B Installation & Commissioning

Engineer. The role in this project is to install the Node B & Duplexer

units, commissioning of Node B and transmission unit with entire

connections and Done AT for new sites. Also, the VSWR measurement &

correction is the part of responsibility.

*EMF Survey, RF Survey and LOS Survey.

*Also, Got an overview of Drive test (DT).
