ACADEMIC PROJECT

Title : Design of GPS Based Navigation System

Platform Used : Embedded System.

Description : This project is to find out the exact location of a vehicle with the help of

the GPS technology. GPS is based on satellites which will continuously

send information regarding the latitude, longitude, GMT, satellite info

etc. Our module will continuously receive these data, and filter only

latitude and longitude. As the vehicle moves, the latitude and longitude

values changes. According to the change of latitude and longitude the

system will display on the LCD. In this project we are using 8051

controller and GPS interfaced to it with serial port.
