development of test procedures, specifications and Design for
Manufacturing.
. Training and oversight of operators and technicians in testing of
specialty LED boards with internal controls on manufacturing floor.
. Troubleshooting and diagnostics of failed and returned LED modules
. Responsible for functional test FPY, reduction of false failures and
feedback and data analysis for corrective actions. Improved test FPY
from below 70 percent to 99.8 percent by improving data collection,
pareto, TPM, and continuous improvement.
Controls and Drivers
. Design and development of test platform, standards for Axiom light
light control products. Integrated multiple tests into station to
perform functional test and spec requirements using Labwiew to test
current, and phase modulation, and dielectric breakdown.
. Facility lead in development of test for companies new line of driver
products. Acted as key contact between design, test consultants,
Mexico Facility, and management test facility in troubleshooting
complex issues with driver functional test.
. Troubleshoot failures in test and products during prototype builds.
Created diagnostic guidelines, and trained technicians to perform
analysis on failed units.
. Data analysis, collection, Guage R&R, failure Pareto of failed units.
Currently driving improvements on product yield, FPY, and reduction of
test cycle time.
Other Test Responsibilities
. Electronic troubleshooting of machines outside of department. Often
able to create solutions with little or no technical documentation,
design drawings or block diagrams.
