Seeking the position of HEAD SECURITY & FIRE SAFETY where I can effectively

manage, implement, and review various standards and security operation programs in

the organization to safe guard company assets and a safe environment for

employees.

Profile Summary

Currently as Deputy General Manager – Security & Fire Safety at DLF IT Park,

Chennai

Broad experience that includes 20 years of Defence Service (INDIAN AIR FORCE)

Vast experience in diversified MNCs like Srilankan Airlines, Hyundai, Toshiba, SPCL

Cushman & Wakefield.

Current Major Responsibilities

Identify suspicious activities and people involved in illegal activities such as violence,

threats, thefts criminal behaviour and regulation breaches within premises

Monitor and control entry and exit of 60,000 employees includes ( IT staffs, workers,

Visitors vendors, drivers )

Monitor and control more than 3000 employees cabs / 4000 personal vehicles /15000

two wheelers to and from the premises in order to prevent unwanted / unauthorized

entry and pilferage.

Controlling 275 security guards/18 CCTV operators / 12 Visitor Management

Executives and 15 traffic wardens / 35 Fire safety officers.

Periodically conducting Fire Mock Drills / Fire training / Security training

Actively manage and perform actions required to secure an environment such as

patrols, investigations, active presence and operation of security equipment.

Ensure hassle free traffic management.

Access control system throughout the plant to prevent entry of unauthorized person in

restricted zones of the plant.

2800 CCTV monitoring system

Implemented various electronics security like Boom barriers, Side ways gates, CCTVs,

HHMDs, DFMDs, at various points for loss prevention.

Responsibilities & Achievements – Fire Safety

Supervise and carry checks as per the check list.

Ensure all the preventive maintenance activities are carried out.

All requirements for consumables and spares should be indented on time.

Ensure all the compliance documents are available at the site.

Maintain necessary contact details update them time to time.

Prepare the fire warden list and update time to time.

Monitor operations of firefighting systems i.e. hydrant system and. sprinkler system

Maintain the daily log as per the log sheet and checklist.

Ensure the cleanliness of the equipment..

Implementation of safety standards and SOPs

Preparation of ERT list and updating the list periodically

Fire Fighting & Fire Detection Systems to be Operational at all times.

Fire line Valves to be locked in Open condition & drain line valves to be locked in

Incident Reporting & Incident investigation pertaining to safety and security is to be as

per standard

HSE Standards to be maintained.
