Role: Tower Operation Center (TOC) Network Engineer
• To manage the network connectivity from OSS to Indus Servers and monitor the alarms reflects in I-Navigator
comes from OSS (NSN/Ericsson) of passive equipments and troubleshooting of network.
• To generate and closure of Trouble Tickets against issues on the sites and assigned Trouble Tickets through NetKT.
• Fetching of data through OVIS and making of reports to find out the KPIs.
PROJECTS:
Software-Defined Networking- Openflow, Detecting potential threats to controller (Aug'14 to present)
• Implementing SDN-Openflow with python & java using mininet software on virtual machine, also working on
security issues on SDN Technology.
Voice over Wireless Ad-Hoc Network, A Hands-on SIP-based VoIP (Fall'14)
• Implementation of VoIP using SIP connections through a hands-on experiment over Ad-Hoc networks.
Demonstration of Virtual machines on EXSi, Build a Server virtualization application (Fall'14)
• Created different VMs on EXSi, perform cloning, snapshot & template of VMs. Also implemented a Server
virtualization (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Servers) application on the same.
MPLS Network implementation using NS3 (Spring’14)
• Implemented a label switched network topology using C++ and Python MPLS module using the NS3 tool.
Simulation of BGP Prefix Hijacking and SUB-Prefix Hijacking attacks (Spring’14 )
• Simulate BGP Prefix Hijacking & Sub-Prefix Hijacking attacks which forced the victim to download a bogus file
using FTP. (This attack could be used as MITM attack, as well as DOS attack)
Penetration Testing (An Ethical Hacking Project – Spring'14)
• Performed a pen testing on Kali linux using metasploitable linux and Nessus tool.
