activities of 12 generating facilities and transmission substation. This
included NERC CIP cyber and physical security standards as well as 693
standards, policy development and adherence. Oversight of IT team in project
related matters. Additionally ensured proper planning, budgeting and
execution of major maintenance and capital programs associated with
technology (HMI, SCADA, PI, MMIS). Effectively bridged the gap between
the commercial/operations and legal/regulatory sides of the business.

Overall responsibility for IT and operations and maintenance (O&M)
technical services, this includes strategic planning and delivery of information
technology capability and services at Essential Power and its generating
assets. Manage business operations and implementation of enterprise risk
solutions to improve corporate and client security models and frameworks,
enhance competitiveness and efficiency, expand and protect market

2009 – 2010 Manager of Operations Maintenance and Technical Services
Provided home office operations and maintenance (O&M) support for electric
generating plants. Implemented numerous computerized systems for improved
automation and accountability. Worked with local O&M teams, Asset
Management to support improvements of plant performance and asset
preservation as well as provide advisory support in technical and operational
matters. Also qualified and contracted 3rd party services. Developed and
implemented programs to standardize and improve O&M at all plants.

2006 – 2009 Facility Manager (Plant Manager) Bayonne Cogeneration Facility
Responsible for the management and operation of a 170 Megawatt Merchant
Cogeneration Facility and associated equipment with P&L responsibility and
an operating budget in excess of 10 Million Dollars. Conduct due diligence on
brown field and green field electric generation projects.
2000 – 2006 Operations and Maintenance Manager Bayonne Cogeneration Facility
Manage all maintenance and operations activities of a 170 Megawatt Co-
generation facility. Responsible for the administration and coordination of all
regulatory and safety related matters pertaining to the reliable operation and
maintenance of the facility. Write and review work procedures to ensure
safety in the workplace and reduce liability. Planning, scheduling,
coordinating and evaluating all work and projects to insure maximum
productivity of personnel. Develop the operation and capital budgets and
control spending for the facility.
