Resumé

I have been working as a system architect on TETRA mission critical radio communication projects for more

than 10 years. I have throughout my career been responsible for system architecture, requirements, and

technical leadership of major projects. The projects have been developed in collaboration with global design

centers located in Asia, North America, and Europe. A part of the job has been to ensure that the global

development teams understood the system requirements, so they were able to deliver on time and with

expected functionality and quality. I have also been participating in SW development for proof of new

technology.

English have been my working language for many ears. I also speak German.

Personally, I am enterprising, creative, and function well individually as well as in groups. I am very capable

at working structured under pressure over longer periods. I am used to balance technical solutions against

business requirement.

Work Experiences

Motorola Solutions A/S, June 1997 – January 2015, Glostrup, Denmark

Motorola develops radio network infrastructure and radio terminals for emergency response organizations

based on the Tetra standard.

2011-2015, Technical Architect, Radio Terminal SW Architecture and System Design

I have been technical responsible for larger multi-site Tetra radio development projects. The responsibilities

have included definition of new functionality, new SW architecture, system requirement development, and

technical responsibility for the entire project. I have also been supporting the global design centers

throughout the project phases, ensuring that they could deliver on time with the expected functionality and

quality. Another part of my responsibility has been support to marketing with pre-sales activities and

customer demonstrations.

Results:

Delivered a Bluetooth end to end solution enabling Motorola portable radios to be connected to

remote Bluetooth devices

Development of embedded SW applications for proof of concept during introduction of new

technology.

2008-2011, System Architect, Infrastructure System Architecture and System Design

I have been a technical architect with ownership of the control room architecture and network management

architecture roadmap. My responsibilities have been defining the architecture roadmap, defining the system

requirements, technical responsibility for the entire solution, support the global design centres with

understanding the functionality and requirements throughout all development phases.

Results:

- Created roadmap and new system architecture for: Dispatch consoles, fully IP bases command and control

room gateway interfaces, control room network, audio plane and control plane

- Technical responsibility for several multi-site development projects

- Support of pre-sales activities

2004-2008 Technical Architect, network management development department

I have been technical responsible for all the network management activities such as maintaining the network

management roadmap, creating the future direction, and coordination of the roadmap activities with other

global business units within Motorola.

Results:

Have been introducing a cost reduced system level scalable server solution

Have defined a TETRA single server platform solution (virtualization) managed via a web browser

2001- 2003 Technical Architect, TETRA Network Management Department

I have been working as release architect with technical responsibility for all Network Management

deliverables. The responsibility includes writing high level requirements, technical lead of deliverables from

global design centres, and support to the project manager with work break down, pre-estimation, and

staffing profiles.

Results:

- Ensured that several multi site development projects were delivered on time with respect to

functionality and quality.

- Ad hoc leadership of special task development team for developing front end projects such as

introducing new server platforms running on new OS.

1997-2001 Senior SW Development Engineer:

- Development of Database (SQL) applications

Euromax A/S, January 1997 – May 1997, Vejle, Denmark

Euromax A/S was a former company delivering total IT solution for news paper production. I worked as a

software development engineer, and participated in development and specification of software for electronic

newspaper production. The work involved UNIX system administration and C development of applications

accessing an Oracle database.

Carlsberg Research Centre, June 1988 to December 1996, Valby, Denmark

Carlsberg Research Centre is part of the Old Carlsberg Foundation. The purpose of the research centre is

basic research within the following areas: chemistry, physiology, yeast genetic, bio technology, and brewery

technology.

My responsibility was the following:

Technical project manager of multi disciplinary complex projects, which includes optic, mechanic,

SW, HW, chemical, and biological, disciplines.

A laser based florescence scanning system

A vision system for glass splint detection in filled beer bottles
