WHIRLPOOL CORP, Software Test Engineer 11/2008 to 11/2010

Whirlpool is world's leading Home Appliance Product Organization. Involved in testing the Home appliances application and Lab scheduler

application. The objective of this project is to thoroughly test the software application, via black box testing methods, against the supplied

specification(s) for the product.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing the System Specification, Perform ambiguity reviews and communicate the inconsistencies between the specification and

application.

• Identifying the Customized requirements and enhancements from Specifications.

• Developed Traceability matrix, System Test plan as per System Design document and Test Cases / Scripts based on Use cases.

• Installation of firmware and, execute commands using WIDE core tool.

together.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing functional requirements specifications.

• Prepared test plans and test cases and execution of test results.

• Performed manual testing.

• Developed Automated test scripts based on various use cases.

• QTP was used to generate automated test scripts for functionality and GUI testing and further enhancements were done in the script
