Job profile:

1. Checks for and processes out dated supplies and instruments according to

procedure.

2. Assists in the maintenance of efficient adequate stock levels.

3. Washes and decontaminates used instruments and equipment by following

prescribed techniques.

4. Cleans, assembles, wraps, sterilizes and stores supplies and instruments sets or

trays.

5. Operates and cleans washer/sterilizers, sonic washer, steam and gas autoclaves

and other related equipment by adhering to instructions.

6. Handles instruments carefully as per procedure.

7. Inspect all instruments and devices to determine that they are in good working

conditions.

8. Collects and distributes items to and from unites in a timely manner and correctly

documents any shortage problems.

9. Reports any problems to the CSSD Manager.

10. Promotes personal growth and education by attending in service and

unit meetings and offers suggestion related to improved service to

units.

Receive soil instruments in decontamination.

Arrange instruments as per the check list.

Disinfect the instruments from washer disinfector.

Arrange instruments as per the sets in packing area.
