OBJECTIVE:
To gain employment with a strong growing company, with possible chance of advancement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
I started at Keeler Brass 8/1/76 as a Press Operator. After about five months I advanced to
set up man. A year later I became lead man of secondary operations of the pressroom. Three
years later I was transferred to a different plant where I was placed as lead man over secondary
presses, assembly presses, and drill and tap departments. A few months later I became assistant
foreman over these departments.
Then I had the opportunity to get into tool & die which offers more challenge, and money.
During my time in the tool room I became a precision machinist in all tool room application. I
repaired and built sheet metal (these were fairly small) prog. Dies, blank dies, assembly dies,
wire forming tools, cold header tools, jigs, fixtures, etc. The dies I built, I had to design; however
they were not complicated. I have done some welding, but not too much of it. I also have
experience trouble shooting, repairing, and machining parts for automated assembly machines.
EDUCATION:
I graduated from Byron Center High School. I excelled at drafting, auto mechanics,
power mech., wood shop, and residential construction.
