Welder, Combination/Fabricator/Forklifts
Used welding processes including: SMAW, Gmaw, very little tig, and fluxcore, hard wire, and spray arc. Also I have
worked programming a plasma table for four years. Welded metal components. Monitored the fitting, burning, and
welding processes. Developed templates. Determined required equipment. Connected weld cables. Changed wires.
Maintained proper feathering of welded surfaces. Filled gaps. Operated a forklift. Cut steel using a plasma cutter. My
accomplishments included: I devised a system in which to keep cost more efficient in the inventory of the shop I
managed along with teach some field personnel how to smaw weld. I became the go to girl who fixed everything. Later
on the company added more field crews which gave me a crew to supervise. I took pride in teaching all of them how to
drive the equipment; forklifts. backhoe, track-hoe, skid loaders, two hem saws and many other tools. In return a few
helped me to learn more about motors and how to fix hydraulics. I really enjoyed working for this company.

Inventory Control Specialist
Received items to stock shelves, warehouses, storage yards. Unpacked merchandise, supplies. Counted items
received. Logged items received. Stored items in warehouses, other areas. Compared requisition orders with stock.
Inspected inventory for damage. Returned damaged stock to vendor. Maintained electronic records of inventories.
Operated fork lifts. Used basic math. My accomplishments included: I volunteered to take all the courses that were
offered by this company, like a construction blueprint course and a computer course. I enjoyed my job so much I
achieved inventory specialist in the Ar. region, that later spilled over into other stores as they were getting computers
installed. I thought I could do more so I took a job at Headquarters. I found something out about myself then; I was not
cut out to sit at a desk all day, so I asked to go back to a store. I enjoy my job better when I am able to participate with
its growth by moving, doing, and going.
