TROUBLESHOOTING
• Pro-actively and quickly respond to insufficient material for processing to occur on fill lines. Researched
the specific chemicals for more material to continue the production flow.
HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS
• Effectively communicated with management in regards to incidents at KIK Custom Products. Only two
minor incidents were reported over 10 years of employment. After becoming the Production Manager
improved safety record from 80% to 98% in the last few years.
MANAGEMENT
Monitored over 50 employees while managing 2 supervisors and 100+ production staff at peak capacity.

QUALITY CONTROL
• Nominated in 1994 as the first Quality Control Auditor and monitored fill rates, batching and ensured
percentages of chemicals were accurate for product fills. Visited customer sites to investigate quality issues.
TRAINING PROTOCOLS
•Trained new employees on new automated packing equipment. Responsible for accurate and regular training
for 20 operators total on company maintenance and safety procedures with a health and safety mindset.
PURCHASING – AUTOMATION: Involved in purchasing packaging machines when the company decided to move
from manual packaging to automation with palletizers, case packers (for bottles packing) and case erectors.
• IMPACT: Reduced staff with one machine from 7 operators to 3 operators per shift over a two-year period.
• IMPACT: Involved in migrating lines from one plant to launch a new plant and met deadlines within
budget. Spent a year period to bring the second facility fully up to speed in 2000. In 2007 successfully
transitioned 2 or the 4 lines back from the second plant.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS
Introduced a new racking systems for raw materials (bottles) with over 1000 different sku’s, each with a unique labels.
• IMPACT: Reduced rack area increasing efficiencies, safety and productivity, compressing 4 areas into one.
COST SAVINGS:
Decreased waste significantly after analyzed the batch reduction waste system; overfills were 4% over benchmarks.
• IMPACT: Saved $144,000 annually after created an action plan.

A major North American producer and wholesaler of household cleaning and bleach products.
Reported to the Plant Manager from 1995 forward. In 1998 this company had close to 100 to 150 employee during
peak capacity. Managed two supervisors on day and afternoon shifts with 25 employees per shift recently. Managed,
supervised and created schedules for the processing needs of the 3 filling machine. Oversaw blow moulding
department, which produced product bottles using injection moulds and more. Continuous improvements in Safety,
Quality, Budgets and Schedules for batching and fill lines. Ensured the production areas were clean and safe.
• PROGRESS: The business product line is focused on 80% of revenue from bleach. Formerly purchased
bleach in tanks for bottling. In 1996 was part of the decision team to purchase and implement a Chlorine
Reactor. Now buy in rail cars and utilized computerized mixing to streamline processes for cost savings.
• SAFETY COMMITTEE: Chaired safety committee meetings as supervisor, which included the contracted
Powel company so everyone was on the same page for health & safety procedures with low injury statistics.
• LEAN OPERATIONS: Ensured all materials were ready based on logistic sequence to minimize changeovers
for streamlining and creating efficiencies. This was similar to JIT material plan and production.
• LABOUR RELATIONS: Managed two supervisors with 25 employees each on production lines and adhered
to company policies and procedures. Maintained area with few grievances and solid labour relations.
• Administered correct labour procedures when resolving disciplinary actions in avoidance of union grievances.
• HUMAN RESOURCES: Interviewed as part of the production team representation to ask production related
questions. Involved with hiring 2 managers, a logistics professional and 3 supervisors within 2010 alone.
• QUALITY: Attended daily meetings and led certain meetings that ensured efficient and effective operations
through quality assurance. Monitored quality alerts from a contract firm when inspections were conducted.
• PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM: Coordinated many of the maintenance schedules as
liaised for the production department with the trades people. Personally initiated Work Orders and prioritized
them based on safety and production issues. Set the foundation for the launch of this current program.
• WAREHOUSING – When the second plant (warehouse) manager was absent, personally coordinated and
managed the warehouse to lead the team there and keep them on schedule.
• INVENTORY TAGGING – In 2007 transferred all finished products into the warehouse. Introduced a new
tagging system to control and reconcile the production and warehouse inventory. In 2009 completed the
process bringing the finished goods inventory accuracy from 80% to 97%.
• NEW LAUNCHES – Worked with R&D new product launches for pilot run testing and assisted with key
modifications so that met actual launch dates and optimal key measure benchmark standards..
• PLANNING – Ensured optimal materials purchased and corresponded with customers to meet deadlines.
• LIAISON ACTIVITIES: Attended cross-functional meetings with the operations manager, plant
superintendent, quality manager and human resource manager to discuss employees, quality and training.
