I've provided network design for customer requirements and their business needs.
Guiding system/network engineers in their tasks and what needs to be done to accommodate design
that I provided. Mentoring and guiding "junior" colleagues from architecture team.
I am supporting datacenter migrations & operations. In charge of new build out of new top datacenter
in USA, based on Juniper MX & SRX & Q-Fabric. Participation on build out of new datacenter in USA
based on Cisco Nexus 7k,5k,2k & Juniper SRX.
L4 support for data centers.
Cloud project transition architecture.
I was leading transition architect for Video broadcast system deployment from Qumu.

I was leading complicated installations of new platforms & designs or even issues and helping service
assurance when they got stuck. Performed installations where majority of whole network campus gets
swapped including pre-work, tickets for changes, DNS, DHCP changes, right after installation support
for customer. Installations where campus design gets changed from logical & physical perspective.
Helping out service assurance with traps and what needs to be captured when new technology is
being deployed - I developed list of traps to be aware of for Cisco LWAP deployment. I invented
method by UNIX scripting for verifying health checks for over 10,000 devices in 1/2 day, till this
moment it was always manual effort taking weeks. It provided general overview of inventory and
revealed areas where issues need to be resolved.
Education of newcommers to our team as a most senior member of team.

Pavel was a System Engineer (SE) on a recent project that I managed to upgrade the wireless LAN
infrastructure at the IBM Almaden location in California. This project included upgrading Cisco wireless
domain switches (2), installing new wireless LAN controllers (2) and migrating from IOS Wireless
Access Points (WAPs) to controller based access points (115). Pavel joined this project approximately
1 month prior to our cutover and he assumed the SE responsibilities without missing a beat. Pavel
pre-tested the new Wireless LAN VLANs to ensure that our cutover would be successful. On the
cutover weekend, Pavel joined each of the new APs to the controllers, addressed any issues that
came up and ensured that the network was production ready. I have also called upon Pavel to assist
with the resolution of complex network problems and to implement emergency configuration changes
for our IBM customer. Pavel has a vast technical knowledge and he applies it to any project that he is
assigned to. He is always professional and completes his tasks on time and error free. Pavel is an
oustanding contributor to any team that he works with.
Hanna Torre, PMP COLLEAGUE
Pavel is extremely intelligent and dedicated worker. He is very knowledgeable about the network
infrastructure that was being put into the IBM Boulder Data Center and quickly picks up on new
technology. He is looked to as a subject matter expert by other peers and he can always be relied on
to do an excellent, thorough job. Pavel was a pleasure to work with and a valuable asset to anyone's
team.
Michael McCormick COLLEAGUE
Working with Pavel is a true pleasure, his technical experience and professionalism is second to none.
I highly recommend Pavel.
Miklos Sragner COLLEAGUE
Pavel was the lead engineer in our team, during our time working together he displayed superb
ownership and attention to his work, always exceeding in his tasks to provide a seamless and early
resolution experience for our customers. regularly participated in training and mentoring of his junior
colleagues and was a role model for them. A highly dedicated professional as well a great person to
work with, i can recommend Pavel without hesitation to any senior roles.
Nan Pay COLLEAGUE
I have been the project manager on several recent project with Pavel as the Senior Engineer. He is
very detail oriented, with excellent networking and customer facing skills. He is one of those rare
employees who always makes not only a positive contribution, but often is the difference in success
and failure. I would opt to have him on my team for any project.
Jozef Macak COLLEAGUE
Working with Pavel last 3 years, It's difficult to find right words to describe superb work he's done. Far
exceeding expectations on daily basis without doubt. Finding solutions, where everyone else is stuck
in panic. Turning disasters into success.
Pavel has unique combination of Soft skills, Technical expertise, Dedication and Detail orientation. He
was certainly the most recognized person by Client, at&t architecture teams, at&t project office and
people working with him in the team.
Interpersonal skills allowed him to make things happen in situations, where official channels were
simply not an option. Acted as a mentor and trainer for our team, ensuring we always have the right
knowledge in place. Team members saw him as a natural advisor, inviting him to difficult migrations
and Pavel was always ready to be there. Many nights, weekends and extra hours were his daily

bread.
He was not contributing, he was leading pilot projects and new technologies that we’ve deployed in
major datacenters around the globe. Listing datacenter replacement projects with Juniper Q-Fabric,
Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACE, Virtualized Cisco switches and Virtualized Juniper switch solutions.
Addressing issues with external vendors and equipment manufacturers.
Intersection of expertise in different technical fields, enabled him to develop automated management
solution for emerging Wireless environments. Later adopted by multiple at&t teams. Often, he stepped
into such abstract tasks, like asset audits and created tools that completely automated inventory
validation.
Approach to his job and professionalism sets him apart and he becomes guarantee of success to any
assignment.
Without exaggeration, Pavel is the best engineer I had ever worked with.
Debra Dylewski, PMP COLLEAGUE
I worked with Pavel on a project to convert IBM's Data Center network in NY from Cisco to Juniper.
The project was very difficult with very high visibility and risk of causing an outage. Pavel was highly
dependable, and competent. His work was always completed promptly without needed any rework.
He was always available for client meetings.
Terry L Stewart COLLEAGUE
Pavel is an experienced customer-focused AT&T Network Engineer going above and beyond in
support of both the customer and the project team. While working with Pavel on a custom and
complex infrastructure for a IBM internal account he worked many long hours to support this
customer. At the start of the project, the long time IBM Technical Lead left the company with no
technical infrastructure turnover to anyone. Pavel stepped up to understand the complexities of the
custom designed network and helped the customer Account Manager (new), understand their
network environment. Eight (8) months later when the customer had a replacement technical
resource, he stepped up to help the new IBM account technical understand their custom network
environment going above and beyond in order to help this customer for their ongoing success and the
success of the current project. It would be my pleasure to work with Pavel again on any project or any
account.
