EXPERIENCE

Responsible for quality parts produced on CNC machines while maintaining quality and safety

standards.

Responsible for machine set up, operating control offsets, reading and basic editing programs.

Experienced in various tools such as turret lathes, milling machines, deburring and inspection of

quality parts for conformance to requirements.

Measures and marks dimensions and reference points on material and work pieces as a guide for

subsequent machining.

Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.

Operate MAZAK machine with MAZATROL control.

Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations. Verify dimensions of

machine parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers, calipers).

Detects out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine within capabilities. Control media as

required to ensure quality of production. Keep immediate supervisor informed as to what is going

on.

Communicates with supervisor, production control, quality and other shop personnel for

assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.

Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly. Performs basic preventative

maintenance function on equipment.

May perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Able to communicate effectively through writing, speaking and the use of visual aids.
