Intergration Engineer

• Integrate hardware of servers and upgrade servers to latest firmware patches on HP Proliant server

including but not limited to DL360’s Gen 8, Gen 9, DL380 Gen8, Gen9, DL580 Gen 8, Gen 9, DL 980

Gen 8.

• Set bios settings on servers according client build and requirements.

• Burned in servers using a utility called LINPAC to burn servers in and made dealt with HP when issues

would arise with hardware failures.

• Ran HP Diagnostics on all servers that would come in after the burn in process was complete, so that I

could save the survey files and have a record of what the server had in place with HBA cards, Solar Flare

cards as well as Melanox card with QSFP and SFP installed.

• Configured server with certain RAID configurations including RAID 1, RAID 1+0, Raid 5 with Spare as

well as JBOD’s.

• Ran scripts that were scripted by the programmers so that database tables would be created.

• Dealt with all levels of team members so that resolutions would be put in place and documented those

case should those incidents come up again, so the fix would be applied quickly and effectively in a

production enviroment.

• Supporting of their Active Directory infrastructure and managing devices within a CUTE environment

within a proprietary application in APC.

• I have used to tools such as, WireShark, to analyze network traffic for trouble shooting purposes.

• I have used Acronis software to clone images of workstations and servers.

• Provided support for a satellite office for C-Level executives for Twinlab Corp. in Soho, NY. This

• I relocated the entire office to a new floor from bottom up, including collaborating with Architects on

getting the office technically in place for our needs. I also helped in organizing the entire move including

non-technical issues.

• I racked a small datacenter and dealt with all vendor relations with getting service switched to the new

location. The move was completed within a weekend.

• Set up a LifeSize video conference system in 2 conference rooms. This was done while I was employed

there less than a month.

• This was a predominately MS Windows support role. Windows 7, Windows 2003, 2008, as well as Mac

• I completed a rollout of HP Elite Pro Book with Windows 7 and MS Office 2010. Configured Outlook

to work with our Exchange 2007 server. I also configured Windows 7 with VPN to work with our system
