November 2013 – April 2014 Powerplant Student Researcher, Prototype Designer
University of the Philippines – Diliman (Prototype was evaluated in San Pedro, La Union Philippines)
Lead Researcher and Team Leader: Headed the research ab out Dolphin Type Wave Power Generator.
The goal of the research is to construct a non-conventional powerplant prototype to be used by five household
located in San Perdo, La Union.
Surveyed the municipality and conducted a proper justification for renewab le electricity demand.
Analyzed, computed and designed metal frame, four bar linkages, ram flywheel, gear trains that was
used as template for the construction of Dolphin Type Wave Power Generator.
Headed the manufacturing of all the element assembly of the prototype which includes welding,
lathe machining, brazing, gear milling and CNC machining.
November 2013 – April 2014 Automobile Chassis Designer
Korean Automobile Testing and Research Institute (KATRI) Songsan -myeon, South Korea
University of the Philippines – Diliman, Department of Mechanical Engineering
Selected by the Automobile Design Professor, Prof. Gerald Jo. Denoga, to be assigned as a str uctural
designer and was privileged to conduct computer aided design for chassis of a hybrid vehicle.
Conducted research for formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) structural body design and
aerodynamic design, road traction, and force analysis of bearing in steady state conditions
Designed a light weight chassis with specific endurance using Creo/ProE (computer aided design).
Analyzed welds microstructure and stress analysis of weldments using Seam Weld Software
April 2013 Student Assistant Designer
University of the Philippines – Diliman, Department of Mechanical Engineering
Assisted Fluid Mechanics Professor, Prof. Paul D. Rodgers, for designing a vertical type wind
powerplant.
Used Creo 2.0 Simulate (Computer Aided Design for Dynamics) to create an environmental
simulation to analyze the mechanical motion of the elements of the prototype.
June 2013 – November 2013 Thesis for Hydraulic Ram Pump: Designer and Manufacturer
University of the Philippines – Diliman, Department of Mechanical Engineering
Team Leader: Headed the analysis and design for pipe structural stresses.
Research and implemented the manufacturing of one -way clip valve.
Conducted an experimental examination that allowed the pump to carry water to a building 50
meters high without using external source such a electricity.
