Project WorldPay - Payment Systems
Customer WorldPay, London
Period Apr 2014 to till date
Description WorldPay manages the entire processing transaction
authorization, settlement of funds and customer
service. With direct connections to all major card
networks, WorldPay delivers a range of payment
options including credit, PIN-secured debit, EBT,
gift cards and more.
Payment Scheme Clearing (PSC):
The transaction data is sent as input files called
'Bulker Files' to PSC where the data is segregated
into different 'Scheme Out Files'. These schemes
out files are segregated based on scheme file
format requirements.
Payments module deals with settlement of
transaction and charges. Payments also maintain
general ledger, accounting, invoicing.
Data module maintains the transaction details,
merchant details, etc. in different databases. The
databases used in WorldPay are 'Oracle database'
and 'Solid database'. The solid database is the
reference database that maintains Merchant and
Company information for reference.
